A Turkish director, screenwriter, and producer known for his compelling storytelling and contributions to cinema. After graduating from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Cinema and Television in 1993, he completed his master's degree in the same field. Aksu directed a series of short films, documentaries, and television series that showcased his versatility and creative vision. Along with numerous awards received for all his films, his significant feature film "Dondurmam Gaymak" (2005), for which he served as producer, director, and screenwriter, won many national and international awards and established him as one of the important figures in contemporary Turkish cinema. Aksu is also a dedicated educator who shares his expertise and passion for filmmaking with the new generation of artists.
